Our life is woven through moments, events and stories. Some of the events change the very history of the family. While the family's special moments, events, achievements are recorded in the recesses of our memory, over the passage of time these events are sometimes forgotten. We might not always think of recording on paper some of these events to pass on to the new branches of our family tree.

The frame work of HUM - Our Storis, Our Roots, Our Heritage is built around phases in our family history with a flow that is designed to recall family history in stories and record them. This book consists of 11 sections that are subdivided into chapters. In these chapeters we have tried assemble cues or thought-triggers, to make the chapters as comprehensive as possible.

This book is planned in such a way that it can become a family project anchored by the Husband and Wife in the family. You will notice that the perspective in the various chapters can be from the Husband's ('His') or the Wife's (Her), the couple's perspective and the family's perspective.
